Pool Gates

Got a pool? Got kids? Then you might want to look into pool gates if you haven't already.

Why Get Pool Gates?

You might have a burglar alarm for home safety, but have you thought about pool safety? If you're a parent (especially a parent of small children) you probably have. Or maybe you're thinking about getting a pool but you haven't thought far enough in advance to think about a pool fence yet.

First and foremost, drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for children age five and under, so pool gates are essential for people with children that age. You might think that pool gates are unattractive, not to mention an inconvenience. But most pool gates are easily removable by adults, so you can still have adults over for a pool party when the kids are at grandma's. And most pool gates even have locks, so you can keep everyone out until you're going to be there to supervise.

It can be quite a chore to keep a constant eye on little ones going near the pool while playing in the backyard. But pool fences provide that extra measure of safety you can count on to keep them safe. Even if you don't have small children, a pool fence can keep neighborhood kids out of your pool if they've somehow managed to get past your other fence and to your pool. They just provide peace of mind knowing you've done all you can do to maximize pool safety and make your pool a place for all to enjoy--safely. So grab those pool toys, get the life jackets or water wings on the kids and enjoy that pool!
